According to a new survey, one in three Britons now say access to Wi-Fi internet is the most essential factor when choosing a holiday destination. Coming just behind a nice view, internet connection is regarded as a vital part of any trip essential for tweeting and posting those holiday snaps on Instagram.
Despite looking forward to getting away from email and the 24-hour news cycle, it seems many people are reluctant to disconnect entirely when they're away. A Wi-Fi connection was a higher priority for the people surveyed in the online retail poll than a clean hotel, a comfortable mattress and a good local restaurant.
